OUR MISSION
H
Haiti has experienced myriad difficulties solving employment problems, including an outsize informal economy, a shortage of skilled workers, and a diminishing wage value compared to other countries, particularly in the cultural and creative industries (CCI).
Building international networks for artists and other creative economy workers, including youth, promises to augment employment levels not only in "cultural clusters" but also to revolutionize the international cultural and creative economy.
A
A major component that allowed Basquiat's career to take off was his access to a robust international art market. HARTI seeks to provide creative economy workers an inexpensive, easy-to-use network that enhances employment opportunities within the creative domains.
R
HARTÏ's network clarifies the world of art galleries, including which ones are the most and least impactful for aspiring artists. This network enables artists to choose, free of agent or outside pressure, the gallery with which s/he would best fit.
